Charles T. Hamilton of Bedford passed away Sunday, October 11th at Mitchell Manor at the age of 93.
Born in 1916 in Brown County to parents William and Hattie Frances (Weekley) Hamilton, He had been married to Ruby Cummings since 1939 and later married Margie Houston in 1989.
Charles was retired Cuneo Press after 30 years of service, attended the Fairlawn United Brethren Church and Morning Star Church in Kokomo.
He moved to Bedford in 1980 and became a member of the Hillcrest Christian Church.
Charles was also a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife Margie; one daughter, Peggy Richardson and her husband John; one son Jim Hamilton and his wife Susan; three grandchildren, Beth Poznanski, Jamie Hurst and her husband Eddie; Tom Hamilton and his wife Kim; five great-grandchidren and two great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife Ruby; one son, Tom Hamilton; one daughter, Betty Hamilton and a daughter-in-law, Kathi Hamilton.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th at 3:00PM at Albright Cemetery in Kokomo.
Visitation is from 4:00PM until 8:00PM on Tuesday at Day & Carter Mortuary with a tribute service to follow at 7:00PM.
