William D. Hutton of Little River, SC, formerly of Oolitic, passed away Sunday at the Grandstand Medical Center in Myrtle Beach, SC at the age of 80.
Born in 1928 in Oolitic to Millard and Olive Hutton, William was an Army Veteran of World War II, and worked at area limestone quarries, Allison Transmission, and M&F Vending.
He is survived by his wife Barbara, daughter Shirley, sons Mike and Brent, brother Sherrill, 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Vernon.
Services will be held Saturday morning at 11:00am at the Englewood Baptist Church with burial to follow at Cresthaven memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 1:00 until 8:00pm Friday at Day & Carter Mortuary and again from 9:00am until time of service Saturday at the church.
