Elsie Jones of Heltonville passed away early Saturday morning at Bloomington Hospital at the age of 82.
Born in 1925 to Clarence and Grace McKnight, Elsie was a Pleasant Run trustee for more than 20 years and sold Avon and other items, and was a member of Mundell Christian Church and Eastern Star of Leesville.
She is survived by her son Gerald, daughters Carolyn and Cynthia, sisters Estey and Emma and 4 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Cecil, son Gregory, daughter Susie, brothers John and Elmer, and sister Anna.
Services will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm at Mundell Christian Church with burial to follow at Mundell Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00pm today and tomorrow at Jones Funeral Home in Heltonville.
