Joanne J. Root of Bedford passed away Saturday morning at Bell Trace Health and Living Center in Bloomington at the age of 76.
Born in 1931 in Johnson City, Tennessee, Joanne was a homemaker and member of Sherwood Oaks Christian Church in Bloomington.
She is survived by her husband Dale, sons Jeffrey and Darren, daughters Jan and Michelle, brother J.C., and 11 grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Bill.
Services will be held Wednesday morning at 10:00am at Ferguson-Lee Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be tomorrow from 3:00 until 8:00pm at Ferguson-Lee.
