Lois M. Watson of Harrodsburg passed away Sunday at the age of 82.
Born in 1925 in Harrodsburg to Claude and Clyde McGlothlin, Lois was a retiree of Monroe County Schools and worked at Lakeview Elementary, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Springville and active in the Harrodsburg Heritage Days celebration.
She is survived by her daughter Kim, sons Rick, Mark and john, sister Florence, 7 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Gene, brothers Eugene and Bryce, and sisters Alma, Mary, Ruby, Martha, Virginia and Treva.
Services will be held Thursday morning at 10:30 at the Elmwood Chapel of Day & Carter Mortuary with burial to follow at Clover Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2:00 until 8:00pm tomorrow at Day & Carter.
