Doris K. Jones, 64, of Bedford, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
Born June 24, 1958, she was the daughter of Willie and Violet (Duke) Garland. She retired from the White River Lodge where she had worked in housekeeping for many years. Doris was a kind, beautiful, and loving person. She loved mushroom hunting and listening to music.
Survivors include nieces and nephews, Debra Shelby, Mark Harris, Susan Melvin, Danny Garland, Jerry Garland, and Misty Toborg; several great nieces, nephews, and cousins including Sandi Adams. S
he was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Jeremy James Smith; a sister, Diane Burnie; brother, Roy Garland.
Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4 th in the Owensburg Cemetery.
