Timothy John May age 59 of Bloomington passed away on March 14, 2023 at 9:21 p.m. at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born in Bloomington on November 28, 1963 to Zaon Albert May and Patti Sue (Mitchell) May.
Tim was a graduate of Bloomington High School South in 1982, he was an active member of the Eagles # 1085 in Bloomington and the Bloomington American Legion, Bloomington VFW and the Bloomington Amvets. Timothy served in the US Navy from 1982 until 1988, he then served as a government contractor for the US Military until his retirement in 2018, he then became a partner in the Quintech Group.
Survivors include one brother, Warren R. (Sharon) May of Bloomington, one sister, Sherlyn D. May Moore of Bedford, his wife, Donna “Jeannie” Hansel-Gill of Bloomington, three step-children, Jessica (Michael) Wilson of Evansville, Katrina (Jeffrey) Wilson of Sierra Vista, Arizona, and Jennifer (Corbin) Willison of Ohio, 6 grandchildren.
Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
A celebration of Tim’s life will be held at 12:00 Noon on Sunday March 26, 2023 at the Bloomington Eagles Lodge #1085, 3100 S. Walnut Street, Bloomington, In 47401, graveside services will be held in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg at a later date, Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with his care.
