Winchester man arrested on 10 counts of possession of child pornography

WINCHESTER – On Thursday, March 2, Detective Charles Meyer with the ISP Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) served a search warrant in Winchester relating to a child pornography investigation. 

The investigation started in July of 2022 when Detective Meyer began an undercover investigation into an IP address that was sharing child sexually abusive material.  Detective Meyer was able to locate the suspect and identified him as Robert Puckett Jr., a 44-year-old male from Winchester.

Detectives served the search warrant at his residence where they located Pickett and interviewed him.  Indiana State Police Forensic Examiners completed a search of a hard drive located inside his residence containing child pornography.

Robert Puckett Jr. was arrested on T-ten counts of possession of child pornography under 12 years old, a Level 5 felony, and transported to Randolph County Jail.

Assisting ISP ICAC was ISP SWAT, Federal Department of Homeland Security, Howard County Sheriff’s Department, and Winchester Police Department.
