Bonnie Jean McCain, 90, of Bedford, passed away on February 26, 2023.
Born in Lawrence County, she was raised in the home of Violet and Herb Reynolds. She married Robert McCain on September 13, 1950, and he preceded her in death.
Bonnie was a graduate of Bedford High School. She retired from JC Penney and attended the First Baptist Church of Bedford where she was a member for 81 years.
Surviving to cherish the memory of Bonnie are four daughters, Robbie (Reed) Wrege of Georgetown, IN, Sherry (Arnold) Hughes of Bedford, Donna (Scott) Pritchett of Bedford, and Melissa (Dennis) Kissenger of Bedford; nine grandchildren, Michael (Emily) Wrege, Chad (Heather) Hughes, Megan (Nate) Hawk, Mallory and Hannah Pritchett, and Brock, Hallie and Maddy Kissinger; five great-grandchildren, Stella and Molly Wrege, Chloe Hughes, Ethan Humphrey, and Addison and Corbin Hawk; one great-great-grandchild on the way, and cousins Jerry, Judy, Vickie and Nancy whom she was raised with.
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents; husband; and one grandson, Clay Wrege.
Funeral Services will be held at Noon on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes in Bedford with Pastor Lee Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Cresthaven Memory Gardens in Bedford. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until Noon also on Thursday, March 2, 2023, at the Ferguson-Lee Chapel.
