BEDFORD – Sheriff Greg Day addressed security issues at the courthouse and employee safety during the Tuesday morning commissioners’ meeting.
Officials have been testing the emergency buttons in offices and found some issues. Some of the signals were not alerting officers’ radios to a potential problem.
Progress continues on moving the security station closer to the entrance of the courthouse doors.
Chief Deputy Tony Siedl will present a personal security seminar for courthouse employees on Feb. 24.
