February is Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month at the Bloomington Animal Shelter

BLOOMINGTON – February is Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month at the Bloomington Animal Shelter.

Adoption fees are waived for all shelter rabbits.

Daisy is a female Mini-Lop and is 5 years and 1 month old and is available at the Bloomington Animal Shelter.

The Bloomington Animal Shelter is located at 3410 South Walnut Street.

The event is to bring attention to rabbits who live in shelters waiting for their forever homes.

Little Bunny Fu Fu is a female and 24 weeks old and is available at the Bloomington Animal Shelter.

With the proper care and attention, rabbits can live 10 to 12 years. Rabbits are the third most surrendered animal to shelters, which means there are many looking for homes.

Scarlett O’Hara is a female and is
1 year and 4 months old. She is available at the Bloomington Animal Shelter.

Adopting a rabbit saves two lives, the one being brought home and the one that will take its place to find its own home.

Steve McGarrett is 2 years, 2-month-old male and is available at the Bloomington Animal Shelter.

The Animal Shelter is open for visitations Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from Noon until 4 p.m. and Saturday, and Sunday from Noon until 3 p.m.
