Obituary: Frances (Dumond) Weber

December 14, 1935 – January 10, 2023

Frances (Dumond) Weber, 87 of Seymour, formerly of Bedford, passed away at home
peacefully, surrounded by family on January 10, 2023, at 7:46 a.m.

Frances was born on December 14, 1935, to James and Alma Henson. She married Garland Weber on November 21, 1964. She worked many years at gas stations, restaurants, and at a small grocery store owned by her and her husband.

Frances was a member of New Hope Community Church in Bedford. Going to church on Sundays was the highlight of her week, and she loved her church family dearly.

She enjoyed being outside and soaking in the sunshine. She always kept a beautiful garden and lots of pretty flowers. She had a green thumb and could make anything beautiful. She also enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling, and spending time with her family that she valued and loved so much.

She was one of a kind that will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Frances was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Weber, her daughter, Barbara Jeanie Eads, seven brothers, Lloyd Henson, Kenny Henson, Bill Henson, Gary Henson, Raymond Henson, Terry Henson, Jimmy Henson, along with two sisters, Vivian Christopher, and Janice Crites.

Frances is survived by her two daughters, Debbie Lambert, of Bloomington, Marcia Joann Lambert of Seymour, and a step-daughter, Lisa Weber Henry; four grandchildren, Bradley Nolan (Christy), Miranda Sporleder (Marty), Jennifer Tate, and Derrick Lambert (Tiffany); eight great-grandchildren, Alli, Nikki (Jake), Hannah, Hunter, Tyler, Alicia, Calli, and Gracie.

Funeral Services for Frances will be conducted at 12:00 noon on Saturday, January 14th at New Hope Community Church of Bedford IN, 2040 US Hwy. 50 East, Bedford, IN 47421 officiated by Pastor Donnie Sanders. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the time of service on Saturday at the church. Burial will
immediately follow at Lilly Dale Church of Christ, 14476 Old St Rd 37, Tell City, IN 47586.
