The officer stopped Smith near the intersection of 23rd and P streets in the St. Vincent Dunn parking lot.

Smith granted the officer permission to search the vehicle.

In Smith’s coat pocket the officer found a plastic cylinder that contained meth and pills.

Smith was detained on charges of possession of meth, possession of a legend drug and drug paraphernalia, and driving while her driver’s license was suspended with a prior conviction.
