Police received permission to search the vehicle. During the search, they found a partial piece of a plastic baggie on top of an open Big Red can that was soaked with the beverage.

In Unger’s backpack, police found a water bottle containing urine.

The driver of the vehicle told police that the Big Red was Unger’s and he was just giving Unger a ride to work.

Unger stated he did not have a plastic baggie but admitted to having urine in a bottle in his backpack. He said he used the urine to pass drug tests. He then admitted the baggie had contained meth which he had swallowed when police pulled the vehicle over and then attempted to put the baggie in the beverage can.

Unger was detained. While at the jail, officers located a pill in Unger’s pocket. Unger is facing charges of obstruction of justice, possession of a device or substance to interfere with a  drug screen, and possession of a controlled substance.
