North Liberty man arrested on possession of child pornography charges

ST. JOSEPH COUNTY – On December 8, 2022, detectives with the Indiana State Police Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC) arrested a St. Joseph County man on alleged charges of possession of child pornography.

This investigation by the Indiana State Police ICAC Task Force began when a tip was received from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). The tip ultimately led to a search warrant being served on a residence in the 300 block of North Jefferson Street in North Liberty by the Indiana State Police.

As a result of the investigation, Christopher Nicolini, 48, was arrested and transported to the St. Joseph County Jail for seven counts of possession of child pornography, Level 5 Felony, and one count of child exploitation, Level 5 Felony.
