Pauline Goen-Flora, 88, of Mitchell, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2022, at Mitchell Manor.
Born May 12, 1934, in Lee County, Virginia, she was the daughter of Paris and Arkie (Scott) Wilder. Pauline married Hubert Goen on June 24, 1953, and he preceded her in death in 1981. She then married Jim Flora in June 1998 and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2000.
Pauline was a member of the Bride of Christ Fellowship. She worked at RCA and retired as a QMA at Fountain Blue Nursing Home.
Surviving is her daughter, Sheila Kay Goen of Mitchell; grandchildren, Terry Reynolds, Jamie (Robert) Floyd, Andrea Goen-Brown, Travis Goen, Ivy Goen, and Christian Goen; eleven great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Her parents; husbands; sons, Carl David Goen and Roger Lee Goen; and siblings, Stella Myers, Sylvia Fortner, Betty Alice Aldridge, Boyd Wilder, Baylor Wilder, and T.J. Wilder preceded her in death.
Cremation has been chosen with burial in Tunnelton Cemetery at a later date.
