Incidents – November 28

  • 1:11 a.m. 911 call hang up in the 100 block of The Woods. It was a dog who accidentally stepped on the phone while the person was driving. calling 911
  • 1:28 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of North 5th Street in Mitchell outside of the caller’s home. The caller reported they caught the suspects on their home security camera. Police arrived and found no one outside the home. At 1:40 a.m. the female called back and told police the people are inside the shed up against the house. The female called again at 4:54 a.m. reporting two or three people are outside of her home in a shed at the home
  • 1:46 a.m. An information report was taken in the 200 block of Greer Lane. The caller reported it feels like someone she could not see forced a pill down her throat

  • 10:31 a.m. A male was at the Mitchell Police Department to follow up on a theft case of a stolen package. The male reported he has gotten the package. The package had been opened and resealed and items were missing from the package

The caller reported she and another female were walking and a male followed them home and they believed he pointed a gun at them. She is unsure if it was a gun or his actual hands because she was scared. The male was in a black minivan

The woman refused to give her name or address. At  6:51 a.m. the woman called back and gave dispatch her name and reported she lives in the 3000 block of Bono Road. She said the erratic driver lives near her and would like a third-shift officer to make extra patrols in the area between 5 a.m. and 5:15 a.m.
  • 5:22 a.m. Fire rekindled at Fayetteville Owensburg and Armstrong roads. Indian Creek Volunteer Fire Department responded. The fire was contained
  • 6:45 a.m. An information report was taken in the 200 block of Greer Lane. A woman reported someone she can’t see forced her to get out of bed and make her smoke something that was not a cigarette and now they won’t stop touching her
