Mark your calendar for the Medora Christmas Festival

MEDORA – The Medora Christmas Festival will kick off with a tree lighting ceremony with a live nativity on Friday, December 2 at 6 p.m. by the library in Medora.

The festival activities will continue on Saturday, December 3, with the Holiday 5K, a car show, vendors, and the parade stepping off at 1 p.m.

Be sure to register for the first Holiday 5K Jingle Bell Jog sponsored by the Class of 2024. Seventy-five percent of the proceeds go to the Junior Class and the other 25 percent will go to the winner of the race. The race will begin at Medora Christian Church to the Medora Brick Plant and back.

Medora Christmas dance/silent auction is also on Saturday. Doors will open at 7 p.m. with the band Shiloh at Medora Christmas Festival performing from 8 p.m. until 12 a.m. at the Conservation Club in Medora.

You can also purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a Blackstone grill with a $200 gift certificate for Darlage Meat Locker. You can purchase tickets from committee members or at the State Bank of Medora.

Christmas cards and Christmas shirts will also be for sale.
