  • 8:35 a.m. A dog has locked itself in a vehicle with it still running at Spring Mill State Park campground
  • 8:48: a.m. Domestic fight in the 4000 block of Peerless Road
  • 9:14 a.m. 911 call hang up at Bedford North Lawrence High School
  • 9:21 a.m. Report of a female wanted in a warrant who has been out of state will be in town. However, police say the female did not have an active warrant according to an IDACS search
  • 9:32 a.m. An information report was taken at the Dollar General store on Old Farm Road reporting they would like a no-trespass order served on a woman who is being abusive to staff and other customers
  • 9:48 a.m. 911 call hang up from Spring Mill Campground, It was an accidental call

  • 4:15 p.m. Request for animal control in the 5000 block of Old Farm Road for a large black dog that looks ill. The dog is on a chain and looks like it has had a stroke and can’t get up
  • 4:22 p.m. Controlled fire in the 1000 block of Poplar Street
  • 4:28 p.m. Citizen assist in the 10000 block of Williams Road. The caller reported a man is harassing them
  • 4:35 p.m. Agency assist in the 500 block of Sunny Acres Drive
  • 4:51 p.m. 911 caller reported a brush fire off the road on State Road 150 and Fairview Lane
  • 4:54 p.m. An information report was taken in the 500 block of Murdock Station Road. Two males climbed over and under his fence yesterday carrying something that looked heavy. The caller is requesting extra patrols in the area
  • 5:01 p.m. Sex offense was reported at Transitions on Diamond Road. A woman reported she was drugged and raped in Paoli and Indianapolis about a week ago. Indiana State Police are investigating. 
  • 5:13 p.m. Request for a welfare check on a male in the 1000 block of George Johnson Road
  • 5:40 p.m. A person was at the station to report a battery that occurred yesterday in the 4000 block of Peerless Road
  • 5:51 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a black Ford Explorer traveling south on State Road 37 at Trogden Lane
  • 6:26 p.m. Report of a suspicious male cursing at the caller in the 500 block of 9th Street in Mitchell. Police were unable to locate the male
  • 6:43 p.m. Officers were out with a male at Frank and 5th streets in Mitchell. The male said he was disabled and was threatened by the Mitchell Assistance Fire Chief but he didn’t want to file charges
  • 7:19 p.m. Traffic stop at Rabbitsville Road and Wade Street. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation
  • 7:21 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Patton Hill Road
  • 7:27 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 58 East
  • 7:31 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 2000 block of Springville Judah Road. The caller said they are being evicted but the landlord will not allow them to get their belongings
  • 7:33 p.m. Report of an unwanted male in the 820 block of Twin Bridges Road. The male is refusing to leave the property and possibly has stolen something from the caller’s truck
  • 7:43 p.m. Report of a large tree limb in the roadway at State Road 58 East and Maple Leaf Road
  • 8:13 p.m. Request for a welfare check at WPA and Rariden Hill roads. Police found no issue
  • 8:21 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Salt Creek bridge. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation
  • 9:07 p.m. Traffic stop at Main Street and Wilkins Way. A male was detained
  • 10:32 p.m. Traffic stop at McDonald’s on 16th Street. The driver was given a verbal warning for an equipment violation
  • 10:50 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and Stove Road
  • 11:07 p.m. Traffic stop at US 50 East and Stars Boulevard. The driver was given a verbal warning for not dimming their headlights
  • 11:22 p.m. Warrant service was done in the jail lobby. A man turned himself in
