BLOOMINGTON –The Indiana Department of Transportation will host a hiring fair next week for winter seasonal positions. The event will take place on Thursday, October 20, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the INDOT Bloomington Sub District at 2965 N. Prow Road.
Winter seasonal positions run from early November to early April at a starting pay of $20 per hour for full-time operations and $24 per hour for snowplow-only positions. Job duties include performing general highway maintenance, traffic maintenance, snow and ice removal, and other duties related to winter operations. A valid CDL is required to be considered for a seasonal role.
Registration is not required to attend the event. Interviews will be conducted on-site and INDOT team members will be available to answer questions and provide more information about open positions and careers with the agency.
