James Fredrick Webb, Jr., 68, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, at his residence.
Born January 22, 1954, in Martinsville, he was the son of James Sr. and Barbara Rose (Schultz) Webb. He married Deborah Hunt on July 4, 2000, and she survives.
James graduated from West Washington High School in 1973 and was a member of Carter’s Creek Christian Church. He worked in construction as a heavy equipment operator and loved operating a bulldozer. James was a member of the International Operating Engineers Local 103.
Surviving is his wife, Deborah Webb of Orleans; children, Jill A. Webb of San Diego, California, and Kyle Webb of Florida; grandson, Isaac Shaw; and siblings, Jeff (Nina) Webb of Campbellsburg and Richard (Cindi) Webb of Salem.
His parents and brother, Larry Webb, preceded him in death.
Cremation has been chosen with burial at a later date at the Silverville Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
