The Marching Stars had a successful day by being awarded a gold rating with distinctions in visuals and effects. This successful performance allows the BNL Marching Stars to have the opportunity to partake in the State Finals.

Their show “Through the Clouds,” is composed by Alex Yoder featuring pieces from “Through the Clouds,” and “True Colors.” The piece is comprised of three parts. Part one is Blue Skies which is a bright fanfare that morphs into a minor mode as the clouds gather and darken. The second part is The Storm which is when lightning strikes as the climatic storm appears. Then the finale, part three, is The Rainbow which is when the clouds part and the sun returns, bringing with it one of nature’s most brilliant phenomena: a rainbow.

The Marching Stars will be competing in the ISSMA Scholastic Finals class A at Franklin Central High School at 8:24 p.m. on Saturday, October 22nd. Awards will be presented at 9:42 p.m. Franklin Central High School is located at 6215 S. Franklin Rd. Indianapolis, IN.

Come out and see the show yourself while supporting and cheering on your BNL Marching Stars.
