Adults and teens invited to an afternoon of spooky stories at Salem Public Library

SALEM – The Salem Public Library invites the public to an afternoon of spooky stories on Saturday, Oct. 8, at 3 p.m. at the library which is located at 212 North Main Street in Salem.

The event will feature stories told by Dr. David Matlack. The event is best suited for teens and adults.

Dr. Matlack has toured the nation with his collection of world folktales, historical stories, and personal narratives, performing for audiences of all ages at storytelling and folk festivals, libraries and schools, and science and nature centers. His tales about plants, animals, rocks, and old-timey folks ultimately teach us about us being human.
