MITCHELL – Avah Cooper was named the 2022 Persimmon Festival Junior Miss Queen and Miss Congeniality Monday night, following tough competition through the weekend.
Avah has competed in these contests before, winning Junior Miss Congeniality in the 2021 Junior Miss Contest, and winning both awards tonight, was something she couldn’t have dreamed of.
“I was really excited for both awards, it wasn’t anything I was really expecting being a part of this year’s pageant,” said Avah. “To all of the young girls out there who are wanting to participate in these contests, just remember to try your best and to be yourself.”
The 2022 Junior Miss Queen’s Court includes:
- Queen and Miss Congeniality – Avah Cooper
- Princess – Hayden Salazar
- Princess – Zoey Shelton
- Princess – Miley Teague
- Princess – Raylee Blackwell
- Princess – Hailee Hall
There were a total of 13 contestants in this year’s Junior Miss Pageant, and they all deserve recognition for their efforts. Congratulations to Avah Cooper, and for all of the contestants who participated this year.
