BEDFORD – A Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputy investigated a two-vehicle crash on Sunday, September 18th at 2:56 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 60 and Old State Road 60.
According to the accident report, a gray 2017 Chrysler Pacifica driven by 39-year-old Joshua Mullis, of Shoals, was slowing or stopped in traffic. At the same time a white 2021 Toyota Camry, driven by 30-year-old Whitteny Andis, of Shoals, was pulled slightly further up to see more clearly the west and eastbound traffic at the stop sign. Mullis assumed Andis was pulling out onto the roadway and struck the rear of her vehicle.
Neither Mullis nor Andis was injured in the accident.
Damages were estimated at $5,000 to $10,000. Both vehicles were driveable.
