The Performing Arts Series of Free Concerts and Movies in the Parks continues into the Fall

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is excited to host some wonderful concerts and movies in Bloomington’s city parks.

From rock and roll to the blues and from Encanto to Ghostbusters, there’s something for everyone.

The Performing Arts Series continues on the Switchyard Park Main Stage.

Spend an evening with the Bloomington Community Band at 6 p.m. on Sunday, September 18. 

Movies in the Parks on Friday, September 16 at 8:15 p.m. with the screening of Encanto (PG) in Bryan Park, Grab your picnic blanket, pop some popcorn, and enjoy a movie under the stars.

Bloomington Parks and Recreation partners with Cicada Cinema to present The Bingo Long Traveling All-Stars & Motor Kings on the ballfield at Rev. Ernest D. Butler Park, 812 9th Street on Friday, September 30th at 8 p.m.

Admission is FREE to all concerts and movies. Bring your own seating.
