We’re grateful to our partners at French Lick Resort.”

French Lick Resort includes two Four Diamond historic hotels, two nationally-acclaimed golf courses, a casino, two world-class spas, more than a dozen food and beverage venues, and retail shops. Students will have the opportunity to work in audio/visual, food and beverage, hotel operations, human resources, recreation, and gaming at the French Lick Resort Casino.

Danton Rogers of French Lick Resort presents internship opportunities to Hospitality Administration/Culinary Arts students in The Yellowwood at Ivy Tech Bloomington.

“French Lick Resort is excited to open this partnership with Ivy Tech Bloomington,” said Danton Rogers, Senior Recruiter in Human Resources at French Lick Resort. “With Ivy Tech boasting a competitive and talented Hospitality/Culinary Arts program, we feel as though French Lick Resort can provide students with a high-end, fast-paced and in-depth internship experience less than an hour away from Bloomington.”

Students accepted into the program will have employee housing with a gym and swimming pool available at a subsidized rate, which aligns with their Ivy Tech course schedules. Scholarship funding is available to cover costs of fuel, housing, and food, in addition to paid work experience that counts toward earning their associate degree.
