Retired Washington Police Dept. canine Diesel passes away

WASHINGTON – Retired Washington Police Department canine Diesel has passed away.

The department was saddened by the news.

Diesel, who was 12 years olds, served the department for many years working normal patrols and specializing in narcotic detention. He was certified in Diesel obedience, aggression control, area search, article search, building search, tracking, and narcotics detection. He was partnered with Detective Sergeant Greg Dietsch.

Donations can be dropped off at any time at the Washington Police Department to support the canine department.
