JACKSON CO — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Pacing Inc. plans to reopen State Road 235 near County Road 600 West in Jackson County by end of day on Friday, August 26, following a box culvert replacement that began earlier this month.
When the first structure opens, crews will move to a second project on the contract, located approximately one-half mile north of C.R. 275 S. (north of Medora). State Road 235 will close for up to 30 days at this location. Traffic will be detoured along S.R. 135 and U.S. 50.
The $744,000 contract was awarded to E&B in March. INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, use caution and remain vigilant of workers and equipment in active construction zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
