Monthly Bird Walks held on the Third Saturday at Muscatatuck Wildlife Society

SEYMOUR – Join some of Muscatatuck Wildlife Society birders for a fun and easy stroll around the Visitor Center at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge area to learn about birds.

The walk will begin at 8 a.m. on Saturday in the Visitor Center parking lot at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge located at 12987 US 50 East in Seymour.

Natural wetlands have attracted and provided wetland habitat to birds and other wildlife at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge for hundreds of years. The small pocket of diverse land and waters has been designated as a Continentally Important Bird Area.

Always on the third Saturday of the month, the walks are suitable for all ages and are slow, easy and fun.
