ANDERSON – Gov. Holcomb will join Indiana Secretary of Education Dr. Katie Jenner to announce a major investment to support reading development for Indiana’s students statewide.
This announcement follows last week’s release of IREAD-3 results, which show that one in five Hoosier third-grade students are not yet strong readers.
The event will happen on Thursday, August 18th at 10 a.m. at Eastside Elementary School at 844 North Scatterfield Road in Anderson.
Along with Gov. Eric Holcomb and Indiana Secretary of Education, Dr. Katie Jenner also present at the event will be
Anderson Superintendent Dr. Joe Cronk and Eastside Elementary School Principal Dr. Val Scott.
