Closures will occur from approximately 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day with flaggers on site to control traffic. The contractor plans to start work eastbound at S.R. 446, moving toward Nashville. Once complete, crews will switch to the westbound lane toward Bloomington. Coring and drilling operations are anticipated to be complete by the end of August.

This preliminary work is part of a future construction project that includes an asphalt resurface on S.R. 46 between S.R. 446 and the west junction of S.R. 135, as well as three bridge deck overlays and four small structures replacements. The project is currently scheduled to be left to contractors in the fall of 2024.
