A yard sale will raise needed funds for Men’s Warming Shelter and Becky’s Place

BEDFORD – Saturday, July 30th is Bedford’s Community Yard Sale and Fundraiser at Riverside Antiques and Decor from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. at 9734 State Road 37.

Both the Men’s Warming Shelter and Becky’s Place will be accepting needed donations.

There will be 20 plus vendors set up selling a variety of items including jelly, bread, shirts, and yard sale items.

Both shelters are looking for hygiene items and toiletries. There will be a drop-off box and cash jar inside Riverside Antiques and Decor for Becky’s Place and representatives from the Men’s Warming Shelter will be on-site accepting cash donations and items and selling t-shirts.

Riverside Antiques and Decor will be offering a 10 percent discount on all items. They will be donating 10 percent of the day’s proceeds to Becky’s Place and the Men’s Warming Shelter.

Sassy Ass BBQ will be selling pull pork sandwiches and pulled pork nachos. Riverside Antiques and Decor will be selling snow cones for 50 cents.

Whiteriver Arts and Hwy 37 Flea Market will have outside vendors set up. If you would like to be a vendor, call Lisa Dalton at 812-583-8708. It cost $5 to set up in a 10 by 10 space. That fee will be donated to Becky’s Place and the Men’s Warming Shelter. Spaces must be reserved by July 27th.
