BARTHOLOMEW CO. — The Indiana Department of Transportation announces a daily lane closure next week on State Road 46 westbound in Columbus for camera pole installation as part of the $65 million added travel lanes project on I-65.
Starting on or after Monday, July 25, the right lane of S.R. 46 westbound will close at I-65. The lane is scheduled to close each morning around 6 a.m. and reopen each evening. Installation is expected to be complete on Wednesday, July 27, weather permitting.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active work zones. Thru traffic should seek an alternate route while the road is closed.
