Bloomington Parks & Recreation Department’s Drool in the Pool Event seeks volunteers

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Park & Recreation Department is looking for volunteers for its Drool in the Pool event scheduled for August 3rd and August 4th at Mills Pool.

The pool is located at 1100 West 14th Street in Bloomington. Mills Pool will be closed for humans but is open for two more days for swimming for your canine friends.

Volunteer spots are available on Thursday, August 4th from 4:30 p.m. until 8:20 p.m., and two volunteers are needed to interact with dogs and their owners while keeping the pool area clean and safe for all those attending. Volunteers will also help with set up, check-in, and tear down after the event. On-site training will be provided.

Volunteers must be 16 years or older. Those under the age of 18 must have an Underage Waiver of Liability signed by a parent or guardian and must bring it with them when they arrive for their shift. Click here to download the waiver.
