Washington school students can begin registering now

WASHINGTON – In just a few weeks students will be headed back to their classrooms.

Big changes are coming to Washington schools. In addition to multiple renovation projects in school buildings, particularly at Lena Dunn, Washington schools have restructured into grade-level centers.

The restructuring will allow for further extracurricular activities and Project Lead The Way initiatives.

WCS Superintendent Kevin Frank says transportation has been the biggest concern, but notes school officials are committed to making it work,

Skyward online registration begins Tuesday for returning students.

School officials remind parents to make sure their information is up-to-date in Skyward Family Access.

In-person registration starts next week.

If you have any questions about registration or transportation, you can reach out to the schools or visit washingtoncommunityschools.org.
