INDIANA – The National Weather Service has issued a Heat Advisory from 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. today.
Temperatures could reach over 95 degrees today. The heat index values are expected to reach 110.
Temperatures will fluctuate in the lower 90s for the rest of the week.
Hot temperatures and high humidity may cause heat illnesses to occur.
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, stay out of the sun, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
Young children and pets should never be left unattended in vehicles under any circumstances.
Take extra precautions if you work or spend time outside.
