Bedford Plan Commission approves rezoning request, moves to City Council

BEDFORD – The Bedford Plan Commission met to discuss the rezoning of a property from a business district to a residential district to sell the property currently on contract.

The top portion set at 2627 Q Street, and the bottom set at 1717 27th Street

A public hearing was held for Stephen Cole who requested to rezone his property at 2627 Q Street, and the property at 1717 27th Street, into one parcel. The property on 27th is currently listed as a B-3 Planned Business District, and Cole is requesting it to be changed to an R-3 Medium Density Residential District.

The two properties

Cole is selling the property on contract with a Josh Magill, who will sell one to his sister, but he needs to rezone the property to acquire the home loan for the property.

The request was approved and moved on to the Bedford City Council meeting set for Monday, July 18th at 7:00 p.m.
