Duke Energy customers will see higher bills this month

INDIANA – Duke Energy customers in Indiana will see higher bills starting this month.

The Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission approved a rate increase of 16 percent.

Duke Energy customers will pay this increase for three months – July, August, and September.

Duke Energy says higher fuel costs, supply chain issues, and a labor shortage in the railroad industry as the reason for the increase.

The company says this is a temporary increase.
