SEYMOUR – Seymour Police Department has a new Police Chief.
Chief Greg O’Brien is replacing Bryant Lucas who resigned in May to take the position of director-chief of police for the South Central Region of Indiana University Health.
Chief O’Brien, 50, was appointed by Seymour May Mayor Matt Nicholson.
Lt. John Watson was appointed assistant chief.
Chief O’Brien took the helm on Friday.
