BEDFORD – The Bedford Men’s Warming Shelter will be hosting a block party fundraiser this afternoon.
Funds raised will go towards paying off the loan taken out for upgrades, and repairs to the building from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m.
The event will provide fun for the whole family as there will be a cookout, games, free kids activities, door prizes, a cornhole tournament, a free throw contest, a silent auction, and a vendor fair
The cornhole tournament begins at 6 p.m. with registration set at $25 per player. The Warming Shelter will have house bags on hand for those who may need them but are requesting each team bring their own cornhole bags. These Doubles BYOP games will be double elimination.
