Bedford Public Library offering access to free telehealth appointments

BEDFORD — The Bedford Public Library is offering access to free telehealth appointments during the months of June and July.

The Bedford Public Library, IU Center for Rural Engagement, Indiana Rural Health Association, and the IU School of Social Work are teaming up to bring this initiative to Bedford and Lawrence County.

Students from the IU School of Social Work will be hosting these telehealth appointments under the supervision of licensed social workers.

The appointments will be available from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. every Wednesday in June and July at the Bedford Public Library, located at 1323 K Street.

This service is open to all adults aged 18 years and older.

All of the conversations will take place through a video chat at the library and will remain confidential.
