Free day at Indiana State Museum and Historic sites during Juneteenth Holiday

INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites invite the community to celebrate Juneteenth, a holiday which commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States, with free admission at the museum and at other historic sites, excluding New Harmony.

The museum will be open during their regular hours from 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Historic sites include:

  • Angel Mounds – Evansville, IN
  • Corydon Capitol – Corydon, IN
  • Culbertson Mansion – New Albany, IN
  • Gene Stratton Porter – Rome City, IN
  • Lanier Mansion – Madison, IN
  • Levi & Catharine Coffin House – Fountain City, IN
  • Limberlost – Geneva, IN
  • T.C. Steele – Nashville, IN
  • Vincennes Historic Sites – Vincennes, IN
  • Whitewater Canal – Metamora, IN
