Beam setting begins tonight at Tannehill Road over I-65 in Bartholomew County

BARTHOLOMEW CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Milestone Contractors LP plans to begin beam setting operations tonight (Monday, June 6) at Tannehill Road (C.R. 650 N.) over I-65 in Bartholomew County.

Motorists can expect lane closures and rolling slowdowns this week south of U.S. 31 at Taylorsville (MM 75) from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. while overhead work is in progress.

Tannehill Road closed over I-65 in early April for a $2 million superstructure replacement project and is expected to reopen in October. The official detour follows C.R. 280 W., C.R. 700 W./Heflon Park Rd., and U.S. 31.

INDOT reminds drivers to use extra caution, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active construction zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
