Lawrence County judge sentences Bloomington man to 800 days in prison for probation violations

BEDFORD – Lawrence Superior Court II Judge Bob Cline sentenced a Bloomington man to 800 days in the Indiana Department of Correction after he violated the terms of his probation.

Jason Bryant

Jason Bryant, 44, had previously pleaded guilty to charges of possession of methamphetamine, a Level 6 felony, and he was sentenced to 910 days in jail, with 840 days suspended, and 545 days of supervised probation, as a part of a negotiated plea agreement with the State of Indiana.

As a part of the plea agreement, Bryant agreed to successfully complete the A.D.A.P.T. program, pay any applicable fees, and report to the Lawrence County Probation Department in person. He failed to do all of the listed requirements.

Those offenses violated the terms of his current probation.

On May 26, 2022, Judge Cline ordered him to serve 800 days for the violations.
