2023-2026 Indiana State Plan on Aging public comment event

INDIANA – Under the federal Older Americans Act of 1965, as amended, the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s Division of Aging is responsible for developing and administering a multi-year State Plan on Aging that provides goals and objectives related to assisting older residents, and their families, and caregivers. The draft of the 2023-2026 Indiana State Plan on Aging is now available for the public comment posted on the division’s public comments webpage

As we celebrate Older Americans Month with the theme of “Age My Way,” we hope to engage and hear from everyone interested in Indiana’s plans to support the older population, and their families. and caregivers over the next four years.  Assuring we accommodate as many people as possible, the division is hosting three regional and two virtual events, listed below, to connect with stakeholders for the State Plan and to allow people to come and share their experiences personally. To request an accommodation, please contact DAComments@fssa.in.gov no later than 72 hours in advance of the event you plan to attend.

Individuals may submit comments and offer suggestions via email to DAComments@fssa.IN.gov or by mail to the address below. All written comments must be received no later than June 10, 2022.
