JOHNSON CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to close State Road 44 today and Thursday (May 11 and 12) to replace pipes west of Franklin.
The road will be closed to traffic from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between S.R. 135 and C.R. 100 S. near First Mount Pleasant Baptist Church. Access will be maintained for local residents, school buses, and emergency personnel.
INDOT reminds drivers to slow down, avoid distractions, and consider worker safety when traveling through active work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
