Mitchell Community Schools announce personnel changes during Monday meeting

MITCHELL – The Mitchell Community School board announced personnel changes during their regular meeting Monday evening, including the resignation of Principal Troy Pritchett.

Pritchett has been given the opportunity to take on an Administrative role with his hometown school Springs Valley High School. The board will hold a meeting before the end of the 2021-2022 school year to determine who the next Mitchell High School Principal will be.

  • Katie Berry – Hatfield Elementary School Second Grade Teacher – effective May 23, 2022
  • Julie Titus – Hatfield Elementary School PK Aide – effective May 20, 2022
  • Jeff Routh – MHS Night Shift Class “C” Custodian – effective April 29, 2022
  • Chris and Lori Bowles – MJHS Student Council Sponsors – effective May 4, 2022
  • Crystal Tyler – MJHS Publications Sponsor – effective April 27, 2022

New Hires

  • Alyssa Mahan – Mitchell Junior High School Sixth Grade ELA – effective August 1, 2022
  • Clara Arnold – Burris Elementary School Remediation Aide – effective August 3, 2022
  • Tiffany Collingsworth – MHS Night Shift Class “C” Custodian – effective May 2, 2022
