Bedford Parks Department announce several events for community members over the next several weeks

BEDFORD – The Bedford Parks Department announced the upcoming spring and summer activities for community members to join in the fun during their Tuesday evening meeting.

The first set of activities will begin in the next several weeks. Here are a few to keep an eye on.

  • April 26 – Park Outdoor Series – Hoop House 101– 6:00 p.m. at the community gardens at the Garden Park located in the 400 block of H Street
  • April 27 – Bedford Softball Association Registration deadline by 4:00 p.m.
  • April 29 – Arbor Day Celebration 10:00 a.m. Wilson Park
  • May 2nd – Reservations for the Otis Park Red Brick reopen following rededication
  • May 5th – Ballpark Days – Indiana vs. Louisville Bats game time 11:00 a.m. bus will leave park office at 8:30 a.m.
  • April 30 – Trash N Treasure– Thornton Park from 8:00 a.m. to Noon – $10 fee to set up a spot to sell a product – And plenty of items for residents to buy
