BEDFORD – The 1972 graduating class of Bedford High School will be celebrating their 50th class reunion the weekend of October 7th through the 9th.
The weekend’s events will begin Friday, Oct. 7th, at the Otis Park Shelter House from 1 PM to 11 PM for small group gatherings, activities, a round of golf, and picnicking. Breakfast and lunch will be “on your own” and there will be a BBQ dinner and a “memories” session that evening.
On Saturday, breakfast and lunch will be “on your own”. At 9:30 a.m. there will be an opportunity to play or learn Pickleball, followed by a tour of the former Bedford High School (now Bedford Middle School) at 11 a.m.
Afternoon and evening activities will be at Spring Mill State Park. Hiking in the park will be available. A social hour is planned at 6 p.m. in the Park Inn with dinner at 7 p.m. We will have a “Remembrance” time for our deceased classmates, as well as dinner, opportunities to chat, and also dance.
A block of rooms for the members of the 1972 class are currently available at the Spring Mill Inn for reservations which are due by September 8th.
Sunday morning, classmates are invited to meet in the Inn Dining Room for breakfast, another opportunity to catch up on the last 50 years and say our farewells.
Mailings with details for the events and dinner reservations will be sent out in late May. Information will also be available on the class’s Facebook page.
The group is also searching for the BHS school song, anyone who has information on where to acquire this information is asked to reach out to the group on Facebook.
